Dr Ben Rein

Dr. Ben Rein

Stanford University Neuroscientist

Ben Rein, PhD is a postdoctoral scholar in Dr. Robert Malenka’s lab. He is currently studying the neural basis of empathy and how drugs such as MDMA act in the brain to enhance social connection.

Dr. Rein’s previous research examined genetic risk factors for autism spectrum disorder and identified key systems in the brain that regulate social interactions. He has authored 17 peer-reviewed scientific papers and received research 
honors from the NIH, the Society for Neuroscience, and Sigma Xi. 

Outside of the lab, he also creates educational science videos for an audience of more than 900,000 social media followers. In his videos, he summarizes research papers, teaches neuroscience principles, and debunks viral videos containing misinformation.

Dr. Rein’s videos have been featured on Good Morning America, he has been interviewed in Popular Mechanics, and served as an expert consultant for Entertainment Tonight. He has received science communication-related grants from the Pulitzer Center on Crisis Reporting and the Mind Science Foundation, and been recognized with awards from the American Association for the Advancement of Science and Stanford University.

Dr. Judy Hinojosa, is a naturopathic medical doctor, the lead physician and founder of Vitality Wellness Clinic, an environmentally-friendly state of the art Wellness Center in Arizona. She has been practicing holistic medicine for the past 15 years. Prior to medical school, Dr. Judy completed her Degree in Psychology and Women’s Studies. She optimally incorporates the best features of functional medicine with naturopathic medicine to treat each patient individually. She specializes in the areas of Women’s Health, Chronic Immune Disorders (Lyme Disease, Auto-Immune Disease), Mold Illness and Detoxification. She is also one of the founders of Naturopaths without Borders.

While running a busy practice, Dr. Judy is passionate about teaching and sharing her knowledge with the public. She speaks on the topics of environmental medicine, detoxification, hormone balancing, energy healing and spiritual health. Dr. Judy has lectured and presented at many medical conferences (EHS, ACAM), wellness conferences (Feel Good Summit, A-Fest Costa Rica,1440 Multiversity) and created Online Master Classes on Detoxification for Dr Hyman’s Digital. She was also a featured speaker in the Broken Brain Docuseries and Sleep Master Class Series with Dr. Mark Hyman.  She loves facilitating Wellness Retreats that integrate mind, body and spirit.

She is a highly sought-after practitioner in her field due to her great success in healing those under her care. She is deeply committed to her patients, always serving with true compassion, love and care.

Lisa Wimberger is the founder of the Neurosculpting® Institute and co-founder of the NeuroPraxis App.

Lisa is the author of seven books—including New Beliefs, New Brain: Free Yourself from Stress and Fear and Neurosculpting: A Whole-Brain Approach to Heal Trauma, Rewrite Limiting Beliefs and Find Wholeness and has helped improve the lives and well-being of thousands of individuals, business leaders, first responders and therapists who suffer from emotional blocks, stress disorders and self-imposed limitations.

She holds a Master’s Degree in Education, a Foundation’s Certification in NeuroLeadership and has certificates in Medical Neuroscience, Visual Perception and the Brain, and Neurobiology.

Today, Lisa runs multiple companies and has over 60 international Neurosculpting franchises. She also runs a private meditation coaching practice and is a keynote speaker and faculty member of Kipalu Yoga and Meditation Center, the Law Enforcement Survival Institute, Omega Institute and 1440 Multiversity.

If you have a VIP ticket then you will enjoy dinner with the presenters at The Source on Friday, September 15th.

No, this is a one-day conference. You are not required to stay overnight at the hotel. However, you can if you’d like.

All hotel room and food costs are a separate charge from the event ticket price.

Denver International airport is closest. It’s about a 30 minute ride to the hotel. Colorado Springs airport will be a 1.5 hour drive to the hotel.

We provide snack and dinner breaks, but you are responsible for your own meals. The Source has a food market attached, and there are many local eateries very nearby.

You are welcome to attend as much of the event as you like. Your ticket price covers all of it. While you are not required to attend the social dancing, we highly recommend it because movement will help you integrate the important information you learned throughout the day.
